Title: bars
Post by: MR_PINK on January 15, 2005, 10:14:40 PM
i got my sv650 type 2 bars for the 04gs from suburban machine yesterday and installed them today and i must say wow :thumb:  install took about an hour and that was with smoke breaks  :)  The egros are much more agressive and my wrists did feel it after an hour of riding, but imo its well worth it.  highly recommend for those who want a sportier look.  They did cost 135 to the door....  a few pics

Are you having any trouble with clearence between the brake reservoir and the tach housing?  I want to get these bars as well, but that is my only concern.

No not at all, it is a tight fit between the banjo fitting bolt and the tach housing but i positioned it behind the tach housing and it doesn't touch.  The brake hose is also fine it's not bunched up or anything.  So i wouldn't worry about that
