Title: OOO GAH
Post by: Eklipse on January 21, 2005, 09:10:32 AM
What do you all think of this horn (http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductDisplay/s-10101/p-231/c-10101/TID-190004506EA0105)?

I wonder if it would fit under the fairing on my F. Wouldn't it be so awesome to drive my cars blaring "OOO GAH!"

It seems smaller and simpler than an airhorn system too. Probably not quite as loud.[/url]

If I remember rightly some folks have had issues with fitting upgraded horns, might be worth a trawl around with "search" before parting with your hard-earned.

I thought about doing that a few times...something different from a standard bike horn. I looked that the dimensions and it's a little bigger than I wanted to mount. If you get one post some pics and let us know how it works out.

i installed one of these. i got it off ebay for $30 or so. it's slightly bigger than the stock horn in size but i was able to put it in the stock location with just enough clearance.

here's a thing though...i only use the horn when i'm showing off the horn. does that make any sense?  :dunno:
