Title: For all you fairing lovers....
Post by: shaykai on January 23, 2005, 01:24:48 AM
Well i've been reading backposts on this forum (on page 47 :) granted i haven't read every post on every page) i came across a post that showed a kit for a fairing for the GS500.

Theres the link for it, and heres the link for the thread.

I just thought i'd post that for anyone who likes the look of a fairing, but can't afford one of the new '04/'05 GS500's. The fairing is 800 bucks, but it might be worth it if you like that look. Sorry to bring up such an old thread, but i figured i might help someone out.

someone on here bought the tail kit and it was really cheap and not very well built.  supposedly it seemed like it belonged on another bike

Look for posts by "nicebelair" ... He bought it and fitted it and painted it etc ...
That remonds me ... I gotta get his carbs done and sent off ... oops...
Cool.

here's a direct link to Jetswing's homepage
great quality pics, by the way

and here's the link to the review:

i bought the undertail/hugger combo too,
but the company sort of fudged up the orders between me and Jetswing and sent me the unpainted pieces, when i wanted mine painted. . .

they were nice enough to reimburse me $50 USD to make up for the mishap. . .

enjoy. . .

cheers,
