Title: centerstand install (extra part leftover)

I just installed a centerstand (thanks Bob B) but I didn't use one part.

It works fine but I wanted to find out what this part is for and if someone can someone post a picture of where/how it should be installed with centerstand (Clymer manual photos didn't help).

It is a metal bracket below.

It's not part of the center stand.  

I don't recognize it. :dunno:

Dang, Bob didn't give me a free shoe horn when he did my ignition advancer... :x

You know how when you take something a part and put it back together and you have extra parts left over???
That is one of those extra parts..... :lol:
