So, on sunday, someone knocked my bike over on its right side. :x :x :x :x :x I lost a mirror and a turn signal. No other damage, or rather, none that I can see, since the bike is kinda scuffed up anyways (15 years old, and its been though lots of new riders). I'm going to use this as an excuse to get some Buell turn signals and maybe some bar-end mirrors.
So, the bike still works fine, but now I'm noticing a wierd resonant "blaaaaaaaat" sound at about 5k rpms. It sounds kind of like an intake honk, or an exhaust leak, or something (definitely coming from the engine, not the exhaust canister, though), but it wasnt there before. Could the airbox have popped loose or something? I cant imagine anything inside the engine having changed...
Also, concurent with this, my fueling now feels a bit off. Power delivery is just a tad rough and choppy, especially when picking up the throttle in corners from a closed position. Theres just this massive snatch of power when I open the throttle, followed by kind of irregular delivery until about 7k RPM.
