Man I love this bike. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/mcy/58682184.html
It's dead sexy.
92 FZR. Opinions on how it compares to the GS?
I'm still completely bikeless, which sucks, I know, but I'm patient. Spring is around the corner.
Someone on this forum should buy that bike. And then give it to me.
That FZR ... good bike but dumbass seller ... beginners bike ... Joker ...
Cool.
Srinath.
Don't wreck it...that's the only year that had a single headlight....(The uppers for those are impossible to come by....). Not bad bikes...
No not a good starter bike.... if You HAVE to get a 600 for a starter bike an F2 CBR would be a better choice. Still too much power for a first bike....but they handle alot better (more rider friendly/forgiving than the FZR/confidence inspiring........I've ridden both...)
Nothing wrong with the Fzr as a beginner bike. If you do go with a 600 or what ever, than the chances of you hurting yourself are much higher, simply because of the power differance.
If you have any sort of brain at all your right hand should be able to handle an older 600 no problem!!
Remember those older 600's might be putting down MAYBE 60hp at the wheel, whereas my friend's 05 R6 bone stock just put down 108hp at the wheel.
BIG difference between older 600's and newer 600's.
I will second the CBR F2 though over the FZR.
Parts for the FZR are getting harder and harder to find.
F2 parts are a dime a dozen.
classic fzr is the dual headlight version though...
Which years have dual head lights?
i think 95 had the dual headlight thinge..
I'm not sure but I think it was the pre single headlight bikes, pre 92 that had duals...it was an 80's thing.
well i have seen 95 fzrs with dual head lights..

aahh, the old fzr, i remember it well. my buddy had the v&h version. it was a quick bike but the paint scheme was yellow and hot pink. he didnt care for it too much. he put sunburst orange paint, 6 inches, in the swingarm, and chrome wheels on it. big change, right
