I like the look of that, it has a very similar spec to my "Buffalo" textile jackets including Knox CE armour etc. Not everyone likes textile but I am very happy with it. I give it a can of spray-on waterproofing every November  especially front and sleeves and it has served me well. I do have a couple of lighter leathers as well but for a long ride or poor weather I use the textile every time.
Your choice looks a winner to me mate.

I just got the Interstate jacket.

Havent been able to ride with it yet due to the snow... As far a fit and construction I am very pleased.  Fits very well and will be very versitile, removable liner and venting in the arms and back.  Also completely waterproof.

yeah, I was looking at it, it isn't much of a upgrade from the Chicane that I have been wearing for the last two years, but if I was just buying another jacket for summer riding localy it whould have been my second choice, behind another chicane.  after this last crash I am really looking at the armor ratings, the armorshield dual denisity foam worked great, but I want the rated stuff,  and the cold wind blast down the ass crack sucks.

I'm not a big fan of that style of jacket, but it still looks good. Lots of zipper vents. I've found you just can't have enough of those. Another good thing. :thumb: Also like the removable liner. One of the things it doesn't have that I look for is removable armor (at least the elbows).

Looks good to me. The armor looks great. Those big zippers up the chest should be comfortable too.

I went with a matching jacket/pants to get the 360-degree zipper; you don't want that jacket riding-up in a slide.  But even if you don't get a matching set, you can still have a tailor (or cousin who sews) sew a zipper onto some riding pants, so you can zip the waist all'round.
