Post by: Eisenfaust on February 22, 2005, 03:05:44 AM
Well, with the recent passing of Hunter S Thompson, I figured I should post this. Its been going around in other bike circles, so here it is.

Hunter S Thompson's review, for CycleWorld, of a 1995 Ducati 900SS.

Not to forget "If you aren't living on the edge, you're taking up too much space".

it's a shame what had happened. His book / movie Fear and Loathing in LV were great.

This paraphrases what I have tried to explain to my mother on countless occasions.

that was a great article. makes ya  feel like you were on the bike  there with him. Bloody shame to  have taken his life. He was a dark genius.

His book on the Hell's Angels was one of the best reads on bikers I've ever seen. If you haven't read it try to get hold of it. It makes you long for the open road. Love that Baby G (which the HA's would have burned in effigy) and this forum.
