Title: I found a parts bike -$350
Post by: TheGoodGuy on March 04, 2005, 07:30:09 PM
sorta crappy looking, one fork was gone (bent), body work is okay scratched, the tank is dented, engine might be good.

It hasn't run for over a year, the point is that ... is there demand for such a crappy parts bike?

Depends on the status of the frame, wheels and motor. You should be able to make a little off of it.

btw....I need a good crank.

well it should have a bill of sale on it for the title, but i got to ask the guy.

The engine should be fine for the most part. It didn't seem damaged other than scrapes on right side.

The frame looked straight, the wheels look straight too. They weren't damaged, the right side fork was though. THe gauges were damaged.

I will redirect him here - so he can part it out and ship if he wants to do it that way. If I buy it i got to figure out where to store it while parts go out.

Keep us updated, the parts I'd specifically want would be the head (with the internals) and the cylinders.

okay sent the guy an email, lets see if he wants to part it out from his location.

I still got to figure out if i get it where to store it. I dont have space. My friend Chris has no space either.
