I've searched and searched and saw nothing on this site or google about an adjustable clutch lever for the GS500E. Does anyone know if these exist, and if so, where can I purchase it?

Aren't they all "adjustable"? If you're looking for something like the multi-position feature on the brake lever, I don't remember ever hearing about one for the clutch side.

The brake lever needs relativley little movement to operate the brake (assuming the braking system is in good order) and therefore the position of it can be adjusted relative to the handle bar. The adjuster does not lengthen or shorten the amount of travel required in the lever itself but in effect moves the lever nearer or away from the handle bar to offer a comfortable grip. The clutch on the other hand requires a greater movement of the lever and a degree of freeplay to operate correctly and cannot accomodate this type of adjuster. As Kerry says ensure the clutch and its mechanism is correctly adjusted and lubricated and there should be no problems.
Nope...I'm referring to a roll-a-click style clutch lever. You have plenty of room to adjust the lever's distance from handlebar without detrimentally affecting the clutch's operation.

I have not been able to find anything similar for the GS500 even though this type is available for many other bikes.
If anyone knows of vendor/manufactorer that I can order something similar to the above, please let me know!

The previous owner of my bike had welded a little tab onto the inside to the clutch lever as a stop to prevent the lever from pivoting all the way forward. (I wish I had a camera)
Thanks, Scratch! My GF has tiny hands and she told me that it takes a decent reach for her to operate the clutch. I might do some fiddling around with it like you suggested to reduce the distance between the lever and bar.

I have noticed that the GS clutch lever sticks out much farther than on other bikes. You may want to replace the assemble with one from a GSXR.

I take it that the GSXR levers are compatible with the GS500E? If so, do certain years apply? I have a '94 GS500E, what levers from other Suzuki models are compatible with this bike?

I was referring to replacing the whole assembly, perch and lever.

Ahhh! Gotcha! I was thinking for a minute there that Suzuki used the same components on different bikes. I was like, "Good thinking, Suzuki!"
Hmmm...this could be an expensive mod to alleviate a minor inconvenience: new assembly + aftermarket lever.
