ok so i dont know if its just because of winter and lack of riding often thats getting to me but i feel like im losing interest. ever since i was little i wanted to ride and last september i finally got a bike. ever since i have been spending as much free time as i have thinking about my bike or working on it! i did a little cosmetic work, and put a can on. taken a few pictures here and there.. but i need something else to do to it. im also kind of in a financial rut, so i dont have any money to put into rejetting or a new filter. any suggestions to keep my interest up?
Well. I'm bad about getting bored... about everything. If something isn't changing, i'm not happy with it. My truck has gone from stock to being literally two inches off the ground, to being raised 4 inches from stock and now back to stock...
It doesn't have to be anything big for me. The little things go a long ways. Do stuff that doesn't cost much since you're hard for cash. Check valves, bleed brakes, re-jetting costs less than $20 if you do it yourself, float height... little stuff like that. I don't know. It's easy on my bike, i'm just now getting it where I want it... I've been chasing problems 24/7 it seems, so there's always something to tinker with...
trey
i dont know what i would do if my bike was perfect the way i wanted it. i thrive on fixing problems or modifiying my vehicles. take my car for example. i was totaly gung ho about it for months. i did all kinds of crap and put a few hundred bucks into it. i lost interest and now it sits out on the street, caked with salt and dented up. its a sad time..
Have you thought about knitting it a tank cover or something? Oh, and BTW, here it's only just early autumn so we're still riding.
Go rent On Any Sunday with Steve McQueen in it. That's a classic (1971) movie/documentary that seems to get me pumped up about riding.
redi whip and a nigth alone with your bike in the garage.
your bike will be clean and the neighbors dont have to know!

Hey sweetcheeks....
Oh wait, wrong kind of excited, guess i needed to read the post. uhh...give your bike a hug? Caress your bike?
Maybe you should watch pornos with motorcycles in them and then all the bases are covered.
When I am unable to ride, sometimes I can be found playing MotoGP on my PS2. Not quite the same thing but it works.
pixel...odd that you mention redi whip. Last night my g/f told me, with a big grin, she has a can of whip cream in the fridge.

As they don't have hands it's hard for them to play PS2 games.
Go out there and hug the thing, fire it up, roll it out, and ride it just enough to make you wish it was warmer outside. Ya love it don't ya? An' this forum too?

The MotoGP series is the only ones I like. I have had MotoGP3 for a while but have not played it much.
i went out looking for it last nite but couldnt find it :(
I bought mine used but I have seen them new in the stores all the time. Plus they are plastered all over ebay.
I just thought of a great one: James Bond Everything or Nothing, it has one insane level where your are driving a Triumph Daytona 500 down an interstate in Louisiana chasing after Jaws in an oil tanker. :? You get to go blistering fast and they have some awesome jumps and "Bond Moments". :thumb: I think I may have to play tonight.
Anyone have the new GT4?
I got MotoGP2 but i had to hunt for weeks to find it :(. I wanna get MotoGP3 and 4 too, but I cant find em anywhere :(.
Quotedgyver Anyone have the new GT4?
Yes, I love the whole series. Best car sim there is, no doubt, IMO. Right now I'm at about 30% complete, $600,000, and around 50 cars. Running a Chevy Camaro LM race car right now with about 850hp and NOS for the straights.
I've got GT4, it seriously rocks. At the pace that I'm going, it'll be 3 years before I "beat" it. I stole Daniely's copy of MotoGP2, and it's pretty good, I like trying to hang the ass end out through an entire corner with the Simulation on, tough to do with 17's and high HP, etc.
GT4 is cool, more tracks, a crap-load of cars, and a dedicated drag mode on "The Strip".
Ive got GT4 also, it gets old quick, especially when the AI on that game has to be the worst Ive ever seen, you will be racing somebody and they will just blow you off the track :guns: My favorite racing game has to be World Of Outlaws 2002, the AI on that game isnt nothing great either but its such a challenge, Ive gotten so good at it now that I start last and try to lap the field. :dunno:

damn good movie :thumb: O0
I'm not going to lie, I didn't like On Any Sunday one bit. Does that make me a bad motorcyclist?
