What is the spark plug gap on my 89 gs500e?
Facetious answer: "Hmmm, I don't know.... How about you measure it?"
Helpful answer: This section from the Haynes manual (http://www.bbburma.net/Scans/Haynes_EngineSpecs.gif) should tell you what you need to know.
Thanks for the info, this should help me get much better performance since I got the bike.

NOTE: The gap on the NGK site is expressed in inches.
That says 0.035 inches... which would be 0.889 mm. I thought the stock plug gap was 0.7 to 0.8mm. I've been running a bit over 0.8mm, and here I thought I was running wider-than-stock!

See the Haynes link in my first post. The stock gap is 0.8 to 0.9mm.
So you're fine. :thumb:
