GStwin.com GS500 Message Forum

Guys I had to give a big thumb up tonight to this entire community  :thumb:

I've got to say, I'm relatively stunned at how great this community has been through all my stupid questions.... but I wanted to highlight some of the things that some really cool members have done to help me...

Most recently, dgyver just up and went out of his way to send me a part I needed to fix my tach.  Got it today - much appreciated.

Kerry - answering questions and making the cool valve video.  Y'all just have patience, its definetely worth the wait juding on how the beta test worked out.

Srinath - GS god.

Not to mention about 10 others.

It's rare you find a site like this one with people so willing to assist others.  Thanks to all!

i'll say.  damn everyone here is like family.  im sick of all the other boards where constant flaming and banning occurs, where porn circulates faster than my own blood, little kids Buddha Loves You, and every week there is someone new that thinks they can hack the forum and shut it down.  its a pathetic world out there.  gstwin.com is where i spend 90% of my time on the internet.  there's a reason for that.

Hell I don't ride a GS (except when I'm fixing one up) and this is my favorite motorcycle site.

I agree on this also, the absolute best site. I also spend about 90% of internet time right here. Have to shout a big Thank You to JOHN too, keep up the good work.

Hell I dont ride a GS anymore either, got a new CBR. And I still hang out here, I soaked up alot of info on the GS and I like to give back when i can.

Pfft!  How could I possibly forget pantablo, he's part of the reason I got the GS in the first place when I was hanging around the about forums, as well as the person who introduced me to this site.    :mrgreen:

I'd hug mine, but I'm pissed off at it and the whole situation with it.  Though once I'm able to ride, i will give it a hug (If I don't shoot it with the shotgun 1st)

I found you guys after picking up a derelict GS as a project bike. My plan was to turn it around and make some money on it this Spring.

Now I'm thinking maybe I'll ride a few more miles.

Where does one kiss a GS500?  Maybe the fuel port...sort of a mouth...at least that's were the food goes.  :dunno:

a cool place to hang out and i've learned so much from you guys. my GS was in such poor condition when i got her. there's no way i would've been able to bring her back to life without ya'lls help. thanks!

i kiss my GS all over......burned my lips last time. for some reason i get funny looks when i caress and talk to her.  ;) you guys get that, too?

I have also learned a lot from this site. I really don't post anywhere else, so I can't compare it to other sites but I like this one.

Anyhow, a big thanks to the regulars for posting, the mods for modding and to John for whatever that "ripping the nice face off" smiley does :lol:
