Title: rejet ERROR in FAQ
Post by: Frost on March 12, 2005, 04:24:42 PM
for 01+ I found 2 errors in the FAQ

first...the allen screws are M4X0.7X12mm
NOT M4X10X1/2"long

second...the Main jet part number is wrong
I bought the main jets according to the FAQ but it looks NOTHING like the stock ones...wont even fit...

Can you post a pic of the ones you got compared with your stock ones?

well...the stock ones are exactly the ones in teh FAQ...
it's about 4cm long with a 2cm hex barrel

the ones i got are like the ones you posted...(same same and approx size of the mids)

the reason i'm so confused is because tis' teh right part number...and same shape...but its' too small to be screwed into the hole...

(does it stick out after you screw it in?)

Can't remember if it stuck out or if it was countersunk.  That 4cm long one that is stock, does the top of it look like your new jet, if so, will it unscrew from the bottom 2.5-3cm hex shaped part?

yes...my new jets look like the top of stock
yes...it will unscrew out

but its too small to screw back in
Title: Mains
Post by: The Buddha on March 16, 2005, 11:40:05 AM
OK what exactly are you having trouble with ... mains ...
You are supposed to put the mains in that hex tube and screw that into the carb. heck you're supposed to leave the hex in the carb ... put a wrench on it and unscrew just the jet.
Cool.
