I assume you would have to cut the pipe, and slip it on....
has anyone used this????

I just cant bear to purchase the $300 V&H system.
The Cobra F1R or S ... OK do yourself a favor ... buy a wileyco, and a flange ... saves you $50-60 over this price and much better ... I had a F1R ... paper thin wall, total shaZam! material, real impure aluminum, has white powdery crap from it all the time ... lousy ... The baffle is real rattly and over all just plain bad and cheap crap ... in quality not price.
Cool.
Srinath.
Srinath has some bias against the Cobra but most that have one will tell you its worth it. I've heard one in person and it sounds good! looked well made. The F1s is better than the F1r, IMO. The F1r doesnt have the end snout and looks odd. The side lettering can be removed on either...
OK Check with these 2 adamwade and vena ... they are the only ones to have seen a cobra and a wiley co side by side ... Not even close ... OK the wiley co is heavier and bulkier ... otherwise ... not even in the same league ... we're talking apples and cruise ships ... that's about the comparison ...
Cool.
Srinath.
And BTW I am not saying that to sell a flange ... I am sold out and there may be no more ...
Cool.
Srinath.
ok I have seen many a post on these wylieco exhausts but i have not been able to locate one every time I check the ebay link they are gone...
do you have to weld the flange on???
ok....srinath....not to pick a fight here....but since you're all out of flanges....and have no plans to make any more.....why should anybody buy a Wileyco pipe instead of a pipe specifically designed for the GS??....
.....

Vfrocket - OK try this link ...
http://stores.ebay.com/DK-Trader_Metric-Bike-Exhaust_W0QQcolZ2QQdirZQ2d1QQftidZ2QQpZ2QQtZkmdennis kirk close out is what we've all been getting, they are good ...
No welding required on your end with flange.
Mastrind - Now I am not saying I wont make more flanges ... or that I plan to not make ... I just need 10 to make a production run ... If I dont get 10 ... I'll think of what I should do ... maybe use an off the shelf item and mod it some with a smaller plate or somehting ... Also 10 is easy to get, there have been 3 or so that have PM'ed ...
Cool.
Srinath.
I dont see one for Gs500 which one should i purchase?
Any of them will work, I bought one for a GSX-R750 and have it installed now.
before srinath was offering flanges, i bought a Yosh can for a gsxr600 and a wrecked pipe to match (for the flange). as soon as it gets to be a decent temp around here its goin on my bike. a set up like that isnt too bad, if you can find a good deal on ebay or something. plus i love that big yoshimura logo on the can. :)
True ... I had a mid pipe lying about from many years ago whihc is the same bolt pattern as the wileyco and almost a fit for the GS ... I still ahve to creatively cut it and cut the headers and see but yea that's a thought.
Cool.
Srinath.
OK Cool I will purchase it... now before I spend the bucks on this can, can you give me some dimentions on the flange? perhaps I could make one of my own.....
I asume a rejet will be in order, what jet sizes and settings do you reccomend for this can???
thanks.
Pilots: #40
Main: #127.5
+ #4 washer
3 turns out on mixture screw
Did I get it?????? :)
I feel so proud. Maybe. . .

OK the 2.5 inch I think, trianglular adapter plate that muffler shops sell will fit the can. You need to make a pipe that welds to that triangle and bends and slips on the header. Take it all to a muffler shop and they should have it bent up to fit. Your real problem is the fact that the GS uses 1 and 3/4 Id pipe and the flange hole is 2.5 inches ... you'll end up needing to slip and flare and slip and flare 2-3 times. See they can safely spread it 1/4 inch... you'll need to go from 1 3/4 to 2 inch to 2 1/4 to 2 /12... so 3 ... whihc is why I prefered to start out with round plate and cut the hole in the angle and size I wanted ...
Cool.
Srinath.
huh, well i will go ahead and purchase the can, and wait till you get a few more orders to make some more... I thnk it would be easier to use yours...
Jake thanks for the re-jet info.
Ok i bought the one for GSXR 750... now I need a flange... put me down for one.... i can wait.
