Title: SV650 fork conversion
Post by: jakethesnake on March 15, 2005, 06:48:56 PM
I would like to put an SV650 fork on my 96 GS500E.  Has anyone done this or know how it would work.  I just discovered that the bike I bought has three broken bolts.  So I drill out the bolts in the rim.  Get a new rim or a I have a friend that just put a busa fork on his SV so I can get that combo cheep.
what would you do?? :dunno:

"... they are basically the same as a Katana front end...41mm convensional style forks. Stock SV brakes suck. They are only 2 piston, I still have a set. From what I remember, the steering stem is the same diameter. I did a GSXR front end install on a SV 2 years ago and all that was needed was to swap the stems.

But...for that price I would go inverted GSXR."
