i just put on the wileyco monday night. i noticed air blowing out around the rivets on the flange side. it leaves a streak mark along the can. any suggestions. i thought about pulling the warranty card but it says you have to return it to the dealer where it was purchased. I think DennisKirk has a no return policy for the dent/scratch store. what do you guys think?
they will replace it if there is a defect. in fact they were very helpful when i got a defective one. i was surprised how helpful they were. they sent me a postage paid address label through email that i printed out. they even shipped the new one before i sent the old one back!
I dont like the sound of that. I am putting mine on saturday.

The 3 I tried on ... 2 did that. There'd be carbon build up inside in a few hundred miles and then no more flying carbon ... One of them sprayed a bit on my swingarm, of course that was old style flange where the pipe went low ... heck most exhausts leak at joints ... As long s its sorta not crazy quantity and not too close to the head ... Its no biggie ... but hey call and scream and score a free can :thumb:
Cool.
Srinath.
i just called and they said this was the 1st time anyone reported this problem.
the customer service rep is gonna call me back this afternoon and let me know wassup.
weaselnoze, did you have the same problem or was it something else? my buddy said to try stuffing JB weld in there if they won't send a replacement. ya'll think it'll work?
Mine does it by one of the rear rivets, but not enough to bother me, it is a very small leak.
