Title: Download a GS500E service manual?
Post by: dgyver on March 23, 2005, 02:06:53 PM
Yes it does exist. I just downloaded a 76mb compressed file file which contained a 75mb file along with a 1mb file of the parts diagrams. It is a scanned in version of the 212 page 89-97 Haynes manual. Took me all day since their server was sooooooo slow and timed out once.

I was searching for a different manual when I found a huge list of links to different manuals of all makes and models.

Links to the manufacturers bike's user manuals (http://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=420640)

I know a bike forum I belong to had a link to download the Barnett's bicycle mechanics manual. It turned out to be a copyright violation so the company requested it to be removed.

From the looks of the URLs, it would be hard to prosecute the Russians that seem to be hosting the files.

Some net sleuthing shows that the GS file come from .nl  the Netherlands. What's a little copyright issue to a country that serves psycho mushrooms in registered facilities?  :)
