Title: Question Re: Bent Rear Swing Arm
Post by: GSChris on March 29, 2005, 10:16:41 PM
As I was looking at the rear of my bike I noticed that the rear wheel seemed slightly out of alignment :( . I purchased my `91 GS500 last year and new inadvanced that it has been in an accident.  Further investigation proved some impact to the right side of the swing arm.

Handeling seems okay.

Question:
- How can I confirm that my swing arm is indeed tweeked?
- Other than iregular tire ware.  What type of concerns should I have? ex. saftey....

OK $25 ... gets you a new swingarm ... ... Make it say $35-40 if you want it clean and powdercoated ... Sorta your choice of color ... but pick some funky ass color and it may take forever for him to get to that ... silver with candy blue on top ... easy 2-3 weeks and about $50 ... I have an appointment with that color    ...
Cool.
