We use kerosene as a heating fuel.

Gasoline (petroleum) is used for internal combustion engines.

Some Europeans refer to Kerosene as Parrafin or even aviation fuel. It's what you would put in an oil lamp or the type of oil heater with a wick, usually round, very popular in 1960s and 1970s but still a few about.

It is ver good for cleaning the rims, I normally use WD40 or one of it's clones which is fine also.

Wait until you hear about petroleum jelly!

Note: Petroleum Jelly is used in the US on baby's bottoms, our lips, etc.  Oh, and sometimes we mix it with Orange Juice and gasoline.

Kerosene can be used to clean paint brushes too, no?

WD-40 works great on the rims.

Denmark.
Kerosene=Petroleum
crude oil=crude oil

Gasoline should be called "benzine" in Denmark (benzin auf Deutsch, bensin paa Norsk och Svensk).  I don't think the word kerosine is used much there, so you'd probably just get a  :dunno:

Vaseline is a brand name of petroleum jelly.

With the amount of tires I can go through in a year, I would rather get tires cheaper and I very rarely go to the doctor.

In europe, kerosene is the stuff you put in airplanes. Petroleum is for cleaning or to put in petroleum lamps. But to clean the chain we use diesel fuel. It's cheap and easy to get. It also cleans very well. Try using it when you have your engine apart. It's great for cleaning engine parts. (it becomes totally clean, but also remains a bit greasy, so it doesn;t start rusting)  :)

hah... free healthcare...  I had to wait 5 hours at the DMV to get my MC license....  no thanks.. I don't wanna wait 5 hours to get a broken arm treated... plus all the good doctors are in the U.S. where they will get paid well

I :? If i had to wait 5 hours i would move out of Canada. Ive never waited. Free health care is awesome. Two of my aunts and my grandmother all HAD breast cancer. Everything, treatment to the medication was free. And i guess since we dont have any good doctors, they must have died right?  :roll:

P.S: I waited 5 minutes at the DMV for my licence  :cheers:

" I don't wanna wait 5 hours to get a broken arm treated... "

My advice is, stay away from the typical U.S. emergency room. You'll probably be waiting a lot longer than that just to get the #$%^&*( insurance papers processed. If you have insurance. Not to mention the multiple bills from everybody that works there that come in the mail for the next 6 months..
