Title: Disconnecting tail lights
Post by: JCH on April 05, 2005, 09:41:15 PM
Yo what gives... I'm in the middle of doing the sv650 tail light mod, and I look at the place where the tail lights connect to the rest of the electrical.   Its like covered in this clear plastic sleeve.  I assume its to protect, but I cant get the bastard to slide one way or the other.

Also, can I just pull the sets of wires apart at this place?

Is there a trick here?  I don't want to mess anything up, figured better to ask first.   Thanks!

sure, there is a trick to it,  you pull on it and it comes apart, and if it dosn't look for a little locking tab, then pull some more
