ok I am a die hard volvo fan and I was introduced to megasquirt which is a control system much like an ecu that controles everything on the bike. you can hook a laptop up to it and datalog and change your map's
I believe this would add a great deal to the little GS..btw since we are on bikes we can run handhelds aswell through it. Im jsut wondering if anyone else has thought of this. I know MS is cheep and esay to do and you can use it on anything basically. http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html
im thinking of checking this out and seeing how it would work on my bike since I will be doing the same thing to my volvo
I don't know if this will really help the GS very much since it's not fuel injected (see all the carb posts)......would be nice for my SV though.....wouldn't have to buy a PCIII.....
Yes, I think it would be invaluable in dialing in an EFI conversion on a GS.
well, read up, there is a member who is runing EFI on his GS and im talking with him about starting a writeup, and sharing, parts sorces, trials and tribulations and pics leading to the end product, including the pro's and cons. Now, dont go scouring the forum for him, your libel to scare him off. we must be patiant, calm, let him come out to us in a trusting way, then clasp the irons on him so he doesnt escape
i have a nice pair of 62 mm throttle bodies with dual injectors
complete with a TL1000R computer and part of the wiring harness
if any body is interested......$100 + shipping
i'm selling off stuff
:(
found another new toy i want....and i have to reduce the herd to get it
I need to buy another bike first then I would like to start fabricating stuff for this one
unless your using a single throttle body for both cyl, 62mm is HUGE for one cyl on the GS
