Ok so this one is kinda weird. I know most of you are complaining about the soft front suspension and putting progressive springs...but here is my deal:
background info:
just got the bike less than a month ago.
might have sat for a little bit (6months)
guy says he took it to a shop and got new seals (160bucks)
I'm 6feet about 140-150lbs
problem:
The front fork travels about .25 - .5 inches! no matter what.
It is stiff as hell, so stiff that I think riding without suspension would be softer. I hit stuff in the road and go flying off...it's pretty nerve racking.
now I think this might be related to my handlebar wobble problem.
that's it.
sorry..it's kinda long.
Ride (fast) safe,
Jonah
ok, so your forks are frozen
I would say bent
wouldn't they actually be "bent" if they were bent?
cus they are not "bent"
drain forks and put new oil?
Yeah I'm in denial...what? what?
Jonah
check fork oil level. is it possible he went to a back alley shop, they put in new seals, and then overfilled the fork tubes? (oil doesn't compress)
dood sumfin is wrong with yer forks, I got progressive springs and 10 weight oil and I still find it to e soft at times, I plan to move up to a 15 weight oil ..and I weigh as much as you
