Title: Runs worse after warmed up?
Post by: shaykai on April 15, 2005, 07:52:32 PM
Hola all,

I'm sure a lot of this will be fixed when me and Scratch get together but i thought I'd let everyone take a shot at this problem. It seems like my bike runs WORSE after its warmed up. Like if I ride for more than 20 minutes it seems like it stumbles a hell of a lot more plus it does that thing where it will stay at high RPMS even though i'm not even touching the throttle. Any ideas on why this is?

Make sure your choke isnt hanging up, even with the lever in the off position a sticky cable will allow it to hang so the choke is on.  If this is it, I also have this exact problem with my bike and you can either buy a new cable or just find the choke slide rail on the left hand side of the bike and reach down and push it in everytime you know the bike is warmed up.
