hey guys, Im going back and forths seein my girlfriend every second or third day right. Im not sure the km's but it's about a 1 and a half from each way. soo whats some things i should take with me in case something happeneds??? Thanks guys soo much.
Are you talking about 1.5 kilometers. If that's the case just wear some good shoes. :lol:
But if you're talking more like 150 kilometers maybe a cell phone, tire plug kit, small air pump, 2 sparkplugs, and the stock tool kit. That's what I'd take anyway. If you've got a tank bag you might fit in a few more items.

I'm too lazy to open up my bike right now, but I can tell you right off the top of my head that 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm wrenches would be useful, along with a good set of pliers and a screwdriver (get one with multiple bits so it takes up less room). Perhaps a portable metric hex key set, too, but don't rush to get those until you know what sizes you need, I dunno. You know, even if you HAD the stock tool kit I'd recommend you go get this stuff--just as an example, I bought a $2.99 pair of pliers at a grocery store specifically to replace the ones in the stock kit, and they're way better. :lol: You'll also want tools to be able to tighten/adjust any accessories you may have on your bike, and a durable mini-tool bag to cram them all into to fit under the seat--I use a tough nylon pencil bag and it works well, though after a year it's wearing out. If you can find a travel roll of duct tape, that's always good too.
Someone else here will be able to tell you the rest of what you need, hope I've pointed you in the right direction. :thumb:
When I used to ride Harleys all the time (Lord I miss my Glide) I carried a small pair of vise-grips, a small flat-blade screwdriver, a rock and a piece of chewing gum ;) . Love the little GS and this forum.

I agree with the given advice, even with the wink and nudge :cheers: , but last summer I was riding my '93 about 4 hours up the road(one way) with about $20.00 in my pocket, and just a hand pump in my gear.
I know, it sounds stupid, but it worked.
