Does anyone actually have the schematic for a later model GS for the rear brake light and rear signals?
From the brake i got that there is a brown wire, a black/white and a white/black.
and for the signals a green and a black one for one side
and the other side black/white and a black.
any help would be great. im looking to do a mod if someone has a the schematic it would greatly help. and if it works out ill do a how to for all you guys.
Wow. It must be the season for electrical projects. Here is a simplified schematic of the signal circuitry:

The green is the switched 12VDC for the lamp, the blk shouldb be blk/wht and is the 0VDC. On the other, the switched 12VDC is blk, the 0VDC is also blk/wht. Check closely for the blk/wht.
I haven't worked one up for the brakes yet, but it is simpler than the turn signals. You have three wires to the rear lamp assembly, one is the 0VDC wire, one is the running light, the last is the brake wire.
Give a little time and there will be a tail light shematic available. :)
Edit: That didn't take too long! Here's a brake light schematic...

awesome i wasnt really expecting anyone to have it. im converting the brake lite into a brake and turn signal hence i can get rid of the turn signals for a cleaner look.
Yes, you could do the combined signal/brake thing from the stock perspective. Another mod is to integrate the stock signal with the stock brake light. That would require adding a relay, but...this is your project and you now have a schematic. Enjoy!! :)
I suggest making one change at a time and then testing. This saves trouble later.
