Can anyone tell me what size allan wrench I need for them?  I'm at work and need to borrow one before I go home.

Using a 1/2" drive socket wrench without a socket, remove the fork cap bolt and attached o-ring (see photo).  There is usually a little spring tension so be careful. The cap usually requires a special tool for removal but the 1/2" socket conveniently fits perfect.

I have a 98 and this worked gr8.

i don't think they're allen key....i think they're 1/2 inch ratchet or breaker bar size.....should just be a square not a hexagon.....right???

Yep - It's square. Just put in my Progressive Springs last night. Hope you have a long socket wrench, those puppies are tight!  :o I had to make do by putting another wrench on the end of my socket wrench to get enough leverage. Don't Say It.....I know you're thinking it! I'm not weak! I'm not. well.... :oops:
