Definately a job for a baby Geep.

*edit to add* <-- Is bored tonight as well.
So do you work on train engines too, GeeP?
Heavens no! I like working under a roof, even if it is without heat most f the time. I just like the little geeps. Kinda like the GS. Small and pathetic, yet so loveable. (Have I been reading too many of Cernuos's posts lately? 8) )
That, and being a runt I know I'd get the bad jobs. Crawling around inside a crankcase in 6" of oil would be one of those jobs. Yeah, it isn't nice. They provide nice little 9" by 14" ports just for the purpose. :? :x
Riding in the Outback, those things are a constant hazard. They have ABSOLUTE right of way.
this link doesn't work either. what's up with that yama? posting bad links. geesh! :technical:
Maybe dont try and go on a thread that is almost 6 years old? :nono: :icon_rolleyes:
but, you can find cools stuff in the old threads! :D
I blame yama, he started bringing back dead threads one day. and then someone commented if an older thread could be found. so now when i'm bored, i just cruise around the dead threads.
I see dead threads!!!
Boredom, got ya. Gotta pass the time at work some how!

Try riding or driving behind one of the cattle road trains. The stink almost makes you wretch.

i was thinking that, and behind one doing 15mph on a blind hill where you cannot pass it. damn right they have the right of way. those things can demolish a house let alone a moto or car
driving my first road train in a "borrowed" copy of 18 wheels of steel extreme trucker lol. easy enough to drive for the most part unless you go to fast, backing up not so easy

Passed a cattle one today. Smelt it before I saw it. Man those thing reek.
least you werent hit by any byproducts Eh?
He was probably wondering where the "rain" was coming from...and there wasn't a cloud in the sky... :icon_mrgreen:
They use those Mamoet units up in Fort McMurray, AB to get some of the large vessels up there...they usually move them at night so there isn't much traffic...and we have upto 3 trailer road trains here in Alberta, but six...holy crap, that would suck to have to pass...and how do they back up? I don't even think I could back up with two trailers, never mind six... :dunno_black:
Later.

Yeah, on the bike. I was leading the ride. Good thing it rained on us. I know other people on bike who've passed the mobile burger trucks and not been fortunate to be Washed With Rain after. Peeewwwwww.
Yeah, I would suggest staying well back from the cattle trucks until there is room to pass...then just blast past them...I don't even like following them in my truck...
Later.
i followed behind 2 of teh bastiges in windsor. in december. one with mobile burgers, one with chickens. so my truck comes out with shaZam! and feathers on it. i was not happy. OPP was looking at me like i was high when i asked tehm where the nearest carwash was. when there was 6" of snow on ground and temps at 0c
