This track is fast. I was entering T8 at 145mph repeatedly. I was getting my knee down at 135 on T8 too. I wore through one knee puck, flipped it over and wore it down again... T2 is a really long sweeper. You must be in it for 5-8 seconds, all with your knee down at 100+mph...ah, I love speed.
Gotta love dragging a knee at those speeds. :thumb:
I must hang off the right side less since I keep wearing a hole in my leathers right behind the puck.
I plan on fitting Powers on my TLR very soon. I was going with M1's but I would have to change slickers.
I ran M-1's before I had the Diablos. The Diablos are far better than the M-1's and the Powers are even THAT much better than Diablos. I am shocked at the level of grip from street tires they provide.
You guys ain't nuthin' but freakin' crazy!! At least you use 'em for what they were built for. To all you nuts who drag knee... . Love the Baby GS, Argentina (had a big dispute w/UK over Falklands), and this forum.

Yeah, those track days look like fun. I bet you didn't even bother taking the race plastics off your CBR last time.
Big pimpin'
Thats gotta be a blast, someday Im going to do that. I think Im pretty good when I drag a peg at 40 but at 100 thats just got to be insane, I want to do it.

actually no, I didn't do anything to the bike. Too much hassle to remove and replace the upper fairing and headlight. The side fairing sI actually just leave on all the time and the tail comes on/off easily and since it doesnt have a taillight I have to replace it for the street soon.
Tires now have 400 miles on them, almost all on track. They look good still too.
I have since also gotten a tank cover for the bike (fuel tank is plastic cover, not metal). to complete my "race/track plastics" set. $5 on ebay, with a big crack in it, same as the tail.
