Title: Anyone watch the Chinese motoGP race?
Post by: 70 Cam Guy on May 01, 2005, 09:01:26 PM
What a race!!  I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!  I can only hope the rest of the season is as exciting.  I found myself screaming at my computer screen as I watched the race

Ok, you watch the GP on the computer...kinda like the deal where you can watch the NASCAR races on computer? Or is this an inside joke? I dunno, but I love to watch the bike races, especially AMA superbike, formula extreme (hopefully the Buells are gonna win one or two) and, of course my favorite, grand national flat-tracking. Who won the Chinese GP? Love the small and meek GS, Belgium (finally out of the stone-age in manufacturing, thanks to Ford), and this forum.

There is usually someone that posts link to the video.  They are usualy quite large, this one is 250 megs.  I don't get Speed channel so this is the only way I can watch without going to some sports bar

*spoiler below*

Rossi won, a Kawi sub rider (Olivier Jacque) took second, and Melandri took third on the final lap.  Jon Hopkins and Kenny Roberts Jr both held the lead on their Suzuki's for a while and it seemed as though it was anyones ball game for a while.  Jacque would have surely reeled in Rossi if he had another couple laps.  I couldn't believe I was actually routing for an American leading the pack  :)
