Title: Suggestion for mounting bracket for fairing
Post by: roma258 on May 04, 2005, 11:57:29 AM
My bike came with a nice looking fairing that would serve me real well during the commute, but one of the mounting brackets are missing. Any suggestions of how to attach the fairing through other methods? All help is appreciated.

Weld, bolt, duct tape, zip tie, glue, bubble gum..... are a few options that come to mind. Just might need a little more info.

you forgot hot glue and 2 part epoxy.  With duct  tape, hot glue,  epoxy, and coat hangers you dont need bolts for anything

go to the local home depot,  pickup some aluminum or steel stock and fab a bracket.  aluminum or steel angle iron is cheap and easy to work with.
