Title: Katana Shock Help
Post by: JMyrick on May 04, 2005, 06:17:58 PM
I just  installed a Katana 600 rear shock in my 2000 GS and I know what the dial at the top is for rebound but can someone tell me what the numbers 1-4 mean

Thanks for any Help

Joe

I think, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, the lower the number the faster the rebound the quicker the shock extends after being compressed. I have mine set at two and the preload at 5.  That's pretty stiff for my rear (insert Beavis laugh) but i have progressive springs in the front.
