Where do you store the gs's, ouside? how do you secure them?

My wife and I share a 920 square foot 1 bedroom.... It's huge for a 1 bed place.

How are you ever going to get laid with that pile of garbage in your room?

Kind of looks like my house at times. Good thing my gf comes over and cleans for me.

Even with a 1100 sqft house and 750 sqft shop, there is not enough room.

I know a guy tho can clean that up for ya...... a couple gallons of gas and a book of matches is all it will take.   so do you charge the rats rent?  dude, I know I am sounding like a ass here, but that is really nasty.

although hard to believe, getting laid isnt my primary concern, and as far as sanitation, its "clean" just messy and disorganized

Im still convinced you live in a closet...and I thought my shaZam! was messy...

Post by: coll0412 on May 05, 2005, 10:42:29 AM
First, as a fellow college student, not I would live in that shaZam! hole.

Why did you take pictures of it and not clean it up instead...weird??

Second, that is not a true college room, here is a list of things missing

1.Beer cans
2. Ping pong table(for beer pong)
3.Empty bottles of boooze(or with very little remaining)
4.Dart board
5.Fooze Ball Table
6.Furniture(ok that really goes for anyone)
7.Street signs(stolen after item 1 and item 3)
8. Someone sleeping on your couch
9.Stacks of homework that you cant just throw away
10.Something nerdy(and in your major) hanging on your wall
11.Febreeze!!!!!!

OKay I just looked around my living room and that is what there is now,
and I am a pretty "typical" college student.

SO CLEAN YOUR ROOM!!!!

P.S. whats up the wood paneling(you must live with your 'rents)

while i was in school, i used to have 3 trails in the room that went from door to bed, door to desk, and bed to bathroom.  everything else was a pile of clothes and papers and books (never food).  so, really, i cannot badmouth you.

however, why on earth would you EVER put your helmet on your bed?  that shaZam! is so dirty!

I thought I had a messy room in college.  I now see that it was pristine and neat!!!!  Dude... I would not classify that as "disorganized"!!!  Thats a MESS!  Good lord at least make some individual piles of crap!!!  Then you can see the floor some.  Or better yet,, get some damn shelves!  Then you can pile you crap there!

(Walks away shaking her head...  )

I take pleasure out of not caring sometimes, but it will have to be excavated eventually, its like a once a year thing for me although the damage is easily redone as soon as i can't find something then i turn my room upside down again =O

Plus then we won't have to look at your Gameboy Advance and all 13 friggin alarm clocks.  Do you have multiples hidden under the filth on the floor too, so you wake up somewhat on time?

Hey '04gs500f, you should talk to the federal government about getting your room classified as a Superfund site. Damn, that's a mess!

well anyways i picked it up a day after the pictures so ill post some new ones later on, i usually let things like that get away from me. It's almost always the result of "im missing something and i cant find it" so i turn the room upside down to no avail.

I'm reminded of the story of the old lady two floors down in dad's apartment building in New York.  She inherited a large sum of money, and developed a phobia - she would not leave the room.

In fact, nothing ever left the room.  She had food delivered every morning, but no trash ever came out.  About 5 years after she moved in the landlord came to check out the place.  Total dump.  He was going to evict her until she offered to pay $10,000 a month in rent.  Landlord accepted, case closed.

Fast forward 45 years to 1985.  She's still there.  She doesn't answer the door for her morning food call for several days.  Finally the police are called.  What the found was just nasty.  The whole apartment was filled with trash.  So much trash that there were tunnels between the rooms.  They found her dead of old age in the living room.  They found newspapers in there from the 30's.

Garbage trucks were coming out of that joint for days.

dude i would be afraid to fall asleep in that thing you claim to be a room. get your lazy a$$ up away from the comp and clean that crap up. i can't believe you actually posted pics of that. i, myself would be way to ashamed to show that. if you are that lazy, get a cleaning person. although they may even be afraid of what else might be living in there. :guns:

Well, that's the truly weird part.  It didn't smell, and there were no rats.  She washed everything in the dishwasher before leaving it in the room.

well its not normally that messy, its just im so forgetfull and lose crap all the time so i turn my room upside down looking for it then get distracted from cleaning it.

Theres one thing i think is funny though, whenever someone has guests over they make everything spotless, even as far as carpet cleaning machine  :?

cleaning for a guest/guests is respectful
renovating for a guest is sorta like hiding the truth
