Post by: vtlion on May 06, 2005, 10:06:04 AM

I'm looking into putting some Michelin Pilot Powers on my SV.

you'll LOOOVE the powers! I have them on the RR...oooh sticky.

Check any online sources people post but then check your local shop. They might come down in price to nearly match the internet price. Might surprise you. I buy all my tires locally at one shop and their prices are lower than most online sources. Can you say Powers for $230!

Oh yeah... i found a great price at www.ridedirect.com .  $236 to my door for the 160 rear and 120 front.  I called and they seemed to be nice enough and knowledgable about their product.  Anybody have experience with this company?

I've had good service from Southwest.  They have the Pilot Powers 120/60 and 160/60 for 215.90 for the pair.  Shipping free on a pair.

wow... great price!  thanks, Jack.  I ordered them a few minutes ago.  Hopefully the shipping is quick.  I need to get them in about 6 business days to get them on the bike in time for my trip.
