Title: help with matching a bolt to its rightfull hole =P
Post by: pprider on May 15, 2005, 07:19:51 AM
so i ordered 2 bolts for my lower crank case cover but when they came the numbers dont match whats on the website... they are obviously 2 different lengths, so how do i know which is for what hole.

if you go to this site... http://houseofmotorcycles.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/oem_schematic_view~mp_id~~mscssid~LWU0GW8PDCVK8KWURR3C290H50AD0E28~schem_dept_id~705193~section_dept_id~1~section_dept_name~OEM+%28Stock%29+Parts~dept_type_id~2~model_dept_year~1990~model_dept_mfr~Suzuki~model_dept_id~703243~model_dept_name~GS500EL.asp

it is the number 22 and 23 at the bottom... any1 know which one is supposed to be longer?

I think 23 is shorter.  However, the short one won't even reach the threads in the 'long' hole.
