Title: Predator Exhaust
Post by: juno on May 17, 2005, 01:06:30 PM
Does anyone have one of these?

If so, does it enhance performance and how does it sound?  Note that this is the "Sport" version rather than the "Road" version.

UK guys?

well, considering it says: "no re-jetting just like the original but without the ruat!" (i assume ruat=rust), i would guess that there is absolutely no performance gain...

I have been thinking of getting one of these exhausts for a while. Emailed the factory and they are very helpful. The race exhaust is lighter and gives an extra 6hp. Check out gs500e.co.uk and search for predetor, one of the guys has a review of them there.
Hope this helps!

Stock or Race if memory serves me. You get stainless steel pipes with a warranty of 10 years and a hard chromed end can on mild steel.

I thought the can was stainless steel too.

Me too! Until  I mailed them. Its good quality from what I gather and they are very good to deal with. They honour their warranty also! Know that might not be good for you in the States though!!!

Thanks for the info, rainmaker.

I haven't heard back from them yet.  I had heard this one is easy to install, and that Remus has fitment issues.

No worries mate!
From what I gather, they are a straight bold on. Just the header screws are a Buddha Loves You to get off!
Gool luck!
