Title: The bike of gold at the end of the rainbow...
Post by: Roadstergal on May 19, 2005, 08:05:17 PM
Talk about a lucky shot.  And some ****ty weather to ride through to get it.

Some more pics.  It's just like my old GS, only smoother than I remember - maybe it was just my bike? - and the full fairing is very, very nice.  It's a nice complement to the other two bikes.

Ah hell, she's a photographer, mechanic, grad-student, biker, poet, track-day rider...you young single guys should be paying attention. Congrats on the new wheels gal. Maybe they should change your name to Dorothy; you've clicked your heels and come back home   . Love the Baby White Owl, Georgia (ever had a peach from Georgia?), and this forum.

When I was (more of) a noob to this site, I didn't know Roadstergal was a woman.  I thought her name was "Road Stergal".  I even thought that was her picture and she was stuffing drumsticks up her nose.  I was wrong.

What a pleasant surprise.

picks are b   e   a   utiful

as far as the mods, i see it two ways, go all out or don't touch a thing... when people buy used bikes they usually love the "un-tainted" ones with no modifications or damage whatsoever

The signals don't bug me, but I might trim the fender.  It's easy to do, and I'm not a big fan of the looks of the stock one.

Hmm, Stergal...     That's Rowan Atkinson with underwear on his head in the avatar.

Yeah, Stergal, I don't know how I messed that up so bad for so long.

My avatar isn't really me either.  My ribs are all together and under skin and meat.

I loved living in Seattle/Tacoma... But didn't like all the spring/fall/winter rain... How about some shots with a Mt Rainier view?

That's definitely in the plans - for this summer. ;)  This weekend, I'm crewing at the track.

I think you mean the Spring, Fall, Winter, Summer rain...

It's kinda hard to keep up with the mini-van & SUV bastards when it's raining like hell and your gloves fail on you :x ...  I need some real gloves.

And I though that was his servant, Baldrick, played by Tony Robinson?  I enjoyed the original 15th Century Blackadder series the best.  (I'll "sod off" now...)   ;)

Ja, it's Baldrick now - it was Blackadder IV when that post went up. ;)

Well, my gloves are pretty damn thin actually...  They're not moto gloves...    Just leather gloves.

I have to wait until the 15th to get new ones though...   :?

Or $20 for the Blasters, if those Limited Sizes don't work for you.
