Title: difference between model years and part compatibility?

how's it goin everyone? couldn't find an answer to my question w/ the search function (i tried, and failed miserably =(

anywho, what're the differences between the different years? I know in 2004 they made the faired version, but what other differences are there?

also, as far as interchangeability of parts and whatnot, how does it compare to say, the ninja 250s or 500s? just wonderin, thanks!

any significiant changes were made from 2001 and on. Then 2004 and on with the fairing addition. but still 90% of parts are compatible any model year.

hahahah, have I got the deal for you, I happen to have stainless steel brake line, about 10 feet of it for 10 bucks, plus 5 bucks shipping
