Title: Cheap Camera Setup?
Post by: octane on May 25, 2005, 05:54:53 AM
Anyone have a cheap video setup on their bike that they wish to share?! Took a nice rural ride down into NC Sunday, nice fast sweepers - wish I had a camera and could share 'em!! I was looking online for a lipstick cam or something else small and simple, but they're not cheap. I don't have a camcorder that I could just mount on the tank. Ideas?

You can get a mount for the tank that you put a camcorder onto.  They are around $100.  GP Tech makes one that I use, but the lipstick cameras give far better pictures (a lot less shake).  I use the lipstick cam 90% of the time.

you will ruin your camcorder if it's setup behind a fairing. you can put lipstick cam anywhere. i got my 480 line cam on ebay for less than $200.
