First, I noticed I had the carb bowls on backwards. As you can see, the drain screws are kinda hard to get at.

Then I saw the breather hose coming off the cylinder head was spitting onto my new k&n filter, discoloring it and probably taking off the oil.

Just some things to watch out for, if you're a bone head like me.
you know they make a k&n filter to go on there, 5 bucks I'll ship it to you. and also it works better if you find a longer hose that goes over the motor down to the ground and then everything stays clean.
YEAH TURD BURGLER.....run the oil spitter to right in front of the back wheel
why not run it where the airbox drain hose exits..?
which is right infront of the rear wheel, hey Ken, I am making that tank out of beer cans just for you.
mine runs to the side of the bike..
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
uh yea, right back at ya man
sorry, that was for the hard drinkin turdburgler.....
i think he's makin' me a present.....i hope....
yeah one of these days....
so i shouldn't hold my breath just yet.......
by the time you make it..... i might have a GS street bike again
just maybe, but I'll wait to start it till you catch up to me in posts.
:(
i'll never see it then :(
no, the fuel filter idea was nice, now stick another hose on that and let it drip on the chain, you now have a automatic oiler :)
