Post by: Frost on May 26, 2005, 04:50:09 PM
will a older version fit a 01+ model?...i read that it will move around a bit since it doesn't have that "shoulder" part...but is it ok to put on my 03?

just find a couple washers that will fit over the shaft so the c clip stays tight against them and it will be fine.

Yep, that'll work for '89-'93 sprockets without the built-in spacer.

But if you happen to have a '94+ sprocket lying around, you won't need the washers.

ones that will fit over the shaft that the sproket rides on but are narrow enough that they won't interfere with the chain, so you need to measure the shaft itself, and figure it out,  or just go get a different sprocket.
