Title: Removing the warning label on the tank of an 05F
Post by: FedExMike24 on May 27, 2005, 10:05:20 AM
Any tips on how to take that label off? Tried just peeling it off last night
but only the clear plastic coating comes off leaving the label behind. Now it looks even worse    Cant have that sticker covering up all that beautiful blue paint!

Leave it in the sun for an hour or two, or use a heatgun (carefully), or a blowdryer (blowdrier?).

Use a hairdryer and peel the sticker as it warms up but be careful not to melt the sticker and make a bigger mess. Then just squirt a little Goo Gone and wipe away the residue with a cloth.

warm with hairdryer as said, then use warm soapy water with a lint free cloth to get the sticky off, worked wonders when i took all the labels off the plastics, and they stick like shaZam! to an army blanket
