It's a bit late this year, but we just had our first snow for this winter. (yes, i know, winter doesn't officially start till next week :P )
It doesn't usually lie around too long but as I had an early shift and had to leave home in the dark, it was still covering everything and the driveway, all 50m of it, was slick as.
So enjoy your northern hemisphere summer and spare a thought for us down here occasionally.
aw sucks to be you! gettin wamer everyday and nicer too! a lot of riding in store for us northerners
What is this "snow" you speak of? ;)
It never snows in Phoenix. Sunny all year around.
Michael, my sympathy. Don't they need medics in Queensland, N Territories or W.A. it's still fairly warm up there but a roughish ferry crossing and a long ridefrom Tasmania.
yeah it was 90 something up here today, went riding.
Here's to hoping your winter is nothing like the winter we had here in New England!!!! In fact I am not quite sure its done yet. The Nor'Easter that is just leaving dropped like 5 inches of rain (so my rain gage says) and the temp never got over 45 degrees! Today it got to 66 and we had some sun.... Weeeeeeeeeeee.
I am not sure exactly how much snow we had but I think it ended up being over 100 inches. I am so ready for some heat I could scream.
Ohh man.... IT'S RAINING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :x :x
I'm going to bed- this weather bites. :(

Um, I actually moved from Queensland to Tasmania, so I guess it's pretty stoopid to moan about the weather. Never been to the Territory but from what I hear it's Third World medicine.
As for the long ride, that would actually count as a bonus! :) :thumb:
