Title: Sportier Riding Position on a gs500e??
Post by: 97gs500e on May 29, 2005, 03:19:21 PM
What is the best way to get a more sportbike-like riding position on a 1997 gs500e?  I was thinking maybe some kind of new handlebars... Can anyone help me out here?  Also, I'd like to replace my mirrors with ones that son't stick up so high, but look sportier.  Any feedback would be appreciated

Title: Handle Bars and Mirrors

I ran a search, but I was unable to follow any links.. Where did you get those handle bars and mirrors, and where can I get some?  The mirror installation looks easy enough, but how can I install the new handle bars? Also - I found this on ebay - not sure if it will work tho:::

no you want suburban machinary sv650 bars, the pic above has them installed, much more agressive and looks sooooo much better then stock bars IMO

Here ya go, pricey but well worth it imo

Or you can talk to srinath.  He makes some kickass bars for GS's.
