Title: Kill the parking light
Post by: John Bates on May 30, 2005, 07:03:27 PM
Yes, I did it the other day.  I left the parking light on for eight hours.

So here's how to eliminate it:

FIRST DISCONNECT THE GROUND (-) CONNECTION AT THE BATTERY

The pic shows it all.

It is reversible so if you sell the bike you can easily return it to stock condition.

Another great electrical recipe from Chef "High Tension" Bates!  :thumb:

EDIT: Late-breaking info...

Quote from: BlueknytSome states require the parking light be left on if broke down on side of highway at night, it's a safety thing I believe.

So, know before you go....
