Well it's 7:30 am and it's coming down hard, got the rain gear on the couch, only thing i'm missing are waterproof shoes. Oh well, wet feet never hurt anyone.
Word of caution to those who like rain riding like me...
If you decide to execute the passing procedure on a slow cager because he's spraying a fine mist over your visor making it impossible to see, watch out for the road's dividing line!!!! When i passed the car and tried to accelerate i was still on the painted line and lost traction real fast.
Indeed... water makes road paint about 1000 times slipperier.
Also.. careful crossing those rail-road tracks. I nearly binned it going over a set at 5 mph in the rain last week. They crossed the road at a diagonal, making them impossible to approach at a right angle :x
It stopped raining over here in St. Pete but I hear that it is going to pick back up.
