Hey weasel ... did you wonder where your custom title came from (http://gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=161744#161744)? Did you even notice? :?
To prove that there's no ill will, I'll send you one of my last two extra oil filter gaskets for no charge. :thumb:
PM me your name and address.
hahah i didnt even notice! PM sent
hello alll
this doesn't really have anything to do with weaslenoze's question, but same subject matter, gaskets.
could someone please tell me the difference between these. i need a new engine gasket, for another bike, but i can't just buy that one gasket anymore because its vintage and they don't make them seperately anymore, they come in complete gasket sets and top end gasket sets.
could someone tell me the difference between a top end set and a complete set, besides price, top end is cheaper, and besides the complete obviously has more gaskets.
what gaskets differentiate the two sets? anyone know what gaskets i won't get by buying the top end over the complete? both are described as
"include all essential engine gaskets, O-rings and seals for reassembly of an entire engine".
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
thanks
oldskool
The complete gasket kits usually include gaskets for: both case covers, oil pan, and other bottom end gaskets...basically below the base gasket of the cylinder.
To weaselnoze:The oil filter gasket is on the way.[/list:u]
thanks again! i dunno why i get the same, wrong gasket with my new oil filter each time.. :dunno:
