Marc Freixa hopping his Montessa (4T?) trials bike bicycle style... insane control :o
trial bikes rule...not to good for commuting though

Deeeeeeeeeeaaauuum!!! :o
I can hardly manage that on a BMX...

what? you mean you can't hop over cars and stuff?
Shoot yeah I can do that on my GS
... of course I have been known to be full of :bs:
I have an old trials bike (Bultaco) and lemme just say that it's the funnest thing I've ever owned. Think of it as the combination of a tractor, a jeep with velcro tires that can drive straight up a velcro wall, all with the weight of your average CRF100F. And then really gear it all down and run in slo-motion UP most of the stuff your buddies can't even ride DOWN.
If I ever have the money I'll buy a modern Sherco as vintage Spanish bikes have worse brakes than your average tricycle. Until then I'm riding vintage baby.
Still though... even the bikes from the early 70's can ride over more than even a serious intermediate rider is capable of.
Someday I'll be able to keep the front wheel up like that. I'm not holding my breath but someday...
Thanks for the link!
I supported a guy at NASA Langely that had been a trials rider. He was surprised I knew what it was at all. He kept telling me I would be good at it. Course I think he was just saying that.
I think its the coolest thing! I would love to learn how to do that!!!
I would love a trials bike. The Gas-gas' are like 5 grand starting out. you could pretty much go out your back door and make anything into a fun ride.

Not sure if I got the link to my photos page right but here are some older pictures of my bike when I first got it running.
I have some more recent photos but not on this PC.
