Just got my progressive fork springs and now for the spacer question I know a lot of you use PVC pipe but I have a friend who is willing to machine them up for me the leaflet that came with the springs says 3/4" but does not give the diameter of the spacer and as I dont want to disassemble the forks till I'm ready to change them so can someone tell me the diameter of the spacer should be :thumb:
I don't know if this helps but I just cut 3/4" off my stock spacer that was in the tubes and it worked great. You'll love the new feel of the front end with the progressive springs - nice!

I'm in the same boat as Lukewarm. My springs are in the mail and I want to throw 'em in first chance but I'd love to avoid leaving my new bike torn apart an extra day while I figure out the spacers. What dimensions PVC fitting do I need again? Also, saw that post on Pablo's site about instalation "the easy way" but does anybody know a link with similar instructions for the right way?
Hate to bump it back up but does anyone know the diameter of the spacer needed :dunno:
For at least one definite data point, check out Marc Duch's Building & Adding Fork Spacers (http://www.gstwin.com/making_fork_spacers.htm) page here on GStwin.
