The bridge has the world's longest single arch steel span. At 876 feet above the New River, it is the second highest bridge in this country.

Gotta love the NRG. great place to ride!
great pics. Is that the black bike club?:)
i have a friend that went base jumping from that bridge. had some really cool picts.
Jet - what's that little yellow thing above your headlights?
(oh yeah - thanks for the rotor - need to get it on but already had it passed by the Inspector)

open up your headlight housing...you'll know what it is ;)
how come you don't ask about my bullet cam??
i put in a new bulb last weekend but didn't notice. a project for after bahamas :)
just noticed the bullet cam. you have that running to a tank bag or backpack? and do we get to see some video?
oh - and that area looks beautiful but there's no way in hell you'll ever see my crossing that bridge .. let alone on a bike!
that yellow thing you see is one of many wiring sockets...open up the headlight housing again...it's more congested than the LA freeways. i have to find a way to hide them.
i have my camcorder in my tank bag. it's more manageable than in a backpack. as for the videos...i'm afraid i might get flamed...i ride pretty (dangerously) hard
i wouldn't worry about crossing that bridge. it's got four lanes and you can't even see the bottom. but then again...if you think about it too much, you might just freak out and ride off the bridge and crash and burn...
That bridge is awesome! Great pic of the span disappearing into the foliage. :thumb:
were you in Ocean City, MD the weekend of May 21st? I swear I saw your GS parked in a hotel lot on my way to dinner one night. Definitely a black GS with dual headlights and an aftermarket tail end on it...just curious.
Incidentally, I went rafting on that same stretch of river a few years ago. AMAZING!
That is beutifull scenery, nice bikes too
post your vids.....let us know what the GS is capable of...
I was there a couple years ago, that bridge is amazing. Went whitewater rafting on the New River, that was quite a bit of fun and a nice view of the bridge from below.
